Astrid tasks show in calendar

I notice that Astrid (ver 3.8.4.4) now places my tasks into the standard Calendar app
on my Desire. I've scoured the menus and options in Astrid, but can't find an option to
prevent Astrid from doing this. I read that it can be done though. Perhaps it's a menu
option that's hidden away. Any advice aprreciated.

Also, when my phone is out of a service area, it takes ages to pick up the signal again
when it is in one. I often have to fire up the 3G, just to give it a nudge so to speak.
This sometimes works, but sometimes have to reboot which seems a lot of fuss.

Sadly, I'm with Three (for now anyway) Is this a network or phone issue?
