I was browsing my SD card with the PC, and noticed a 90MB file in the downloads folder.
The file is named "OTA_Bravo_Froyo_HTC_WWE_2.09.405.8-1.21.405.2_release4dua3bcrut4wrv30.zip" so it stands to reason that this is the Froyo update.
Seeing as Froyo is already installed on the phone itself, I'm wondering if it would be safe to remove this file and free up some space. 90MB is a lot if you're still using the default 4GB card.
I doubt the phone still needs it for regular use, but what if i need to perform a factory reset? Will it be reset to a stock 2.2 or a stock 2.1 ?
I think I'm going to move the file to my PC for now and see how the phone responds. Not really planning on doing a factory reset, but I guess the worst case scenario would be that you'd need to download the update again.
