Hi all,

I really hope I have posted in the right thread. Apologies if ive done it wrong. Heres my issue.

I set up my phone using one gmai. Not thinking, I closed that account so that I can set up a new gmail which has since affected most of my applications.

I want to back up all my data. I have left on my phone my contacs and my txt messages. Ive backed up MOST of my contacts to my new gmail account but it hasnt backed up all of them. It wont seem to back up my txt messages.

Is it possible the reason I cant back up the txt messages, be due to the fact I have changed gmail accounts?

If not, can you advise how to back up the remaining contacts and messages?

Sorry to be a pain.

Thanks!  Smiley

Try using "My Phone Explorer" from the market.
That's a great application, but for copying messages and contacts between your PC and phone, and for editing them on your PC.

Hi Ric323,

It seems I cant log into the market. It comes up wanting the gmail account I deleted. I cant seem to get the phone to select the new gmail account. Is there another way around it?  Cry

Have a look at http://www.fjsoft.at/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11454
Right at the end, it explains that you can install the PC app, then it will install the app on your phone when you connect the USB cable.
The PC app can be downloaded from here: http://www.fjsoft.at/en/downloads.php
