How do I bulk remove Gmail notifications (I find Gmail app a pain - wish I could remove it or switch it off)

Thanks

On the main Gmail notification screen your incoming emails are listed. To the left of each one there is a small box. Tap each box and it will become ticked. When you do this, options will appear at the bottom of the screen. When all (or the ones you want to get rid of) are ticked, tap Delete. They will all be deleted at once.

Yep I had worked that one out, but there is over 1100 - isn't there a way of bulk deleting them?

Thanks

Oh goodness that's a lot to delete. I'm not aware of another option on the phone, I have just had a look on my phone to see what other options are available  - perhaps log into your gmail on a PC and Select All and delete that way.
Cheers

Question: Is there an app which is the equivalent to a marco maker - that way I should be able to delete them with a couple of keystrokes.
