I have my Outlook setup with pics that I use, Seems that Facebook is over riding those. How do I use my outlook pics and not Facebook?

This is a simple walkthrough for you:

1. Go to "People" app
2. Select the contact you want to change
3. Select the "Linked" icon (Upper right)
4. Select the contact's picture on the upper left
5. Now you'll have a menu "Select contact photo"
6. Select the nicest mug of the contact you have

Disclaimer: works for google/facebook/custom photos. I don't use outlook, so I have no idea how it syncs. Try it out and let us know

OOPPS spoke to soon!  When FB updates it over rides the photo chosen and goes back to the Facebook contact photo! Any other ideas?

Settings -> Accounts & sync -> Facebook for HTC Sense -> de-select "Sync contacts"

Afterwards, you might have to repeat step 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6 of the earlier procedure to change the picture again.

Yes, as that's the live feed.  So their updates and such will still appear in the facebook app and the friendstream.

The "Sync contacts" option only syncs info between the person's facebook profile information and the "people" app
