So many queries about syncing in this forum, so many unanswered questions.
I have a simple problem. I would like to copy photos from my phone to my PC. I have done it in the past but cannot remember how to do it now.
My htcSync (latest update downloaded) doesn't seem to want to work. (no device detected - who knows why, it's sitting right here in front of me and is detected with default connection type as Disk Drive - i'm sure it has worked in the past)
I have downloaded and installed MyPhoneExplorer and it works as a WiFi, but all the guff with the USB connection seems a bit complicated, and anyway, on WiFi it finds contacts but fails to find photos.
My recollection is that formerly the phone just became another device on the PC, and I could then navigate to it within windows explorer, then copy and paste photos to whatever PC folder I wanted, but I cannot find the phone in windows explorer. Maybe I am missing something somewhere (I'm sure I am).
Any help would be greatly appreciated, but please try to not use too many acronyms as I'm an old fart and cannot keep up with them all.
