Hi All

Just bought my new HTC Desire and need a little advise.

I have a Pama bluetooth hands free kit that will store all the contacts names against phone numbers, so these are displayed when a call comes in. I have worked out how to send a single contact via bluetooth to the hands free kit, but need advice of how I can do the whole lot in 1 go via bluetooth.

Can anyone shed any light on this.

This rather depends on whether the hands-free kit can import a standard .vcf file (the standard for groups of contacts). If so, then the following might work:

Open up the People app, tap Menu then Import/Export, then tap Export to SD Card and select the account to export (Google, SIM, or Phone). This will write a .vcf file to the card. You can then use a file manager like Astro to send that file by Bluetooth. For example, in Astro, navigate to the file, do a long press on the .vcf filename, then tap Send, then Astro Bluetooth. If the two devices are paired, you should get the usual tethering dialog.

If the kit can't import .vcf files, then I don't know of any way other than sending them across one at a time.
