This should be fairly easy but the manual is silent on the subject; how to change a storage card?
I have an HTC desire with a 2 gig card.
I may need more storage ( as i am going away overseas for a trip) and so i bought a 4 gig card. but no where in the manual does it tell me how to change these cards (not that i can find anyway).
I have a few programs i want to move over as well. Only one is paid for, a dictionary. So what do i do with them.

You take out the old card and put the new card in. A big violin! You have just completed a task that will confound even the most experienced of techies.
Jokes aside, copying everything (and I mean everything) will do what you need. Not sure about paid apps, but all my (free) apps transfer without hassle. I have a few .apk paid apps too, but that a whole different thing altogether. All your apps will run without the need for re-installing.
And why are you paying for a dictionary?
