I've had a look through the Q&A's here but not found anything that helps. I got my Desire yesterday and have hardly put it down!
As usual (always the same problem with a new phone) am having problems getting the syncing to work for contacts. Used HTC Sync (did I do the right thing?) and it seems to have worked OK. Of course, as usual not all my info has been brought across from my Outlook'07 contacts, but that's to be expected.
What's not to be expected is that once the contacts are in, I can't seem to search by company/organisation, or by keyword within the company field or notes section.
So if I want to find someone to phone but I can't remember their name, I can't find them even if I remember the company name, or remember they "sell computer parts", none of the searches I have tried will find them.
Have set the search function to search for people, but this hasn't altered anything. Similarly, people search, or searching within contacts don't work either.
Please help! I am sure there must be an app or an easy way to do this...it would be incredibly crappy if it didn't!
