If you're looking for their FB photo to appear next to their contact details then you need to link each contact to their respective FB account. To do this you need to sync your phone with your FB account if you didn't do it at initial set-up (Settings>Accounts & Sync>Add Account> FB), then link each contact with their FB account by going into each contact's details and linking by tapping the link icon at the top right.

If on the other hand you've already linked each contact with their FB account and are looking for their current FB photo to appear in your phone then I would have thought that this would re-syncing automatically if you have auto-sync ticked in Accounts & Sync?

I'm having the exact same problem with FB not syncing with my contacts. Up until about a week ago, whenever I went to my contacts, the most updated profile pic appeared as well as their most updated status post. I have synced, I do have auto sync checked. I've linked all of the accounts, unlinked, relinked, and done everything else I can possibly think of. Nothing is working anymore. What changed? What do I need to do or who should I contact for an answer? Thanks!

I have had this problem and while messing around with my phone today I think I figured it out. Although it is tedious given that I should just be able to click on sync and have it work properly!

menu-people-at the bottom you have 4 graphics, one being the earth - tap on that and it should come up with online directories - tap on facebook and click refresh. It loaded all my facebook contacts with their current profile pics and statuses. If that doesn't work, you may have to log out and then log in again.

i've been trying to make my phone sync to facebook for over a week now...tis petty i know, but i want to see my friend's faces when they message me, haha...

took my phone into the shop i got it from today...staff were even more clueless than me and suggested i google it...which i have been doing since i realised i had a problem...d'oh...they ended up doing a factory reset which lost all my messages and numbers...cheers guys!

basically, there appears to be 2fb apps on my phone...one 'regular', one for htc sense...i can log in fine on the regular one, and look around the world of fb...however, when it comes to syncing it point blank refuses to do anything, and tells me that 'this service is currently unavailable'...

any suggestions..?
