Can't beleive no one had the Sony Ericsson W995 in this thread, it was an awesome phone for media etc, but my mate at work got a Desire on his upgrade and after a few minutes playing on that, my mind was made up, so the W995 eventually went on Ebay!
To be honest the last 5 or 6 phones I have had have been Sony Ericssons, I had no problems with any apart from a minor one on the W995. I was looking for a touch phone and the X10 was top of my list until I played with the Desire.

My last phone was a nokia e71. I had an unlimited data plan with 3 but screen was a bit small. Now my daughter can watch her Disney films on the 3.7 " screen of the desire which I bought off ebay, before switching to a £10pcm contract with 3 for 300min, 300texts and 1gb data. Result!

I had a Samsung Galaxy S - my sister liked it, so I traded phones with her and got her HTC Desire.

Previously I owned the nokia 5800 XM and an iPod touch 3rdGen..but I sold them, and now I have the HTC desire... Grin Grin

Always had a Nokia phone, Desire is my first smart phone, it's in getting repaired at the minute and I'm so lost with out it.  Using a nokia until it's returned but don't know how I ever used a nokia before.

I hear u dude.. i always had a nokia too, 5110, 3210, 3330 (3310 with wap), used that for a long time, until it died, then the 5400i i think it was, lasted a long time too. Then the 6300 which was a great phone, lost it once on my way to work. Fell out of my overall pants when i was driving my chopper bike. (the one with a big noisy engine :p) some cars drove over it and stuff. Needed a new cover cause it was smashed. But still worked. Apart from 1 little problem: refused to accept my simcard. So i got another one. Exactly the same but a black one Smiley lasted 3 years, but then it started to fall apart. So i got the x6 16gb smartphone. Great phone, used it for over a year. But i wanted more! It was too slow! And nokia runs behind with its smartphones. So i started comparing phones, and got my white desire about a month ago. And i still dont regret it Smiley but i do miss having 16gb internal memory..
