Hi There,
I have the HTC Desire and I love it, it's a great phone, but there are certain little niggles in customization that I want to do, and so far I haven't worked out how to go about it.
I would like to be able to use any image of my choice as a wallpaper for my screen, but the images I use all seem to zoom to a portion of the image when saved as wallpaper. I have tried to use the re-sizing square, but all that seems to do is enlarge a portion of the image...no good. I understand that when using the red re-sizing square one should pinch it to cover the whole of the image, but it only seems to expand globally regardless of the axis, and when it reaches the nearest edges it will not continue to cover the whole image.
I do not think it is a fault with the phone, in fact I'm sure it isn't, I think it is to due with the image itself
How does one manipulate the image so that the whole image fits neatly to the whole of the screen? Surely, images smaller than 960x800 pixels, should automatically default to full screen use, as in being stretched. Better still, is there a app that defaults all images to screen size?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I want to understand the process.
Many thanks
