Low battery won't put the phone into safe mode, it will simply shut it down.  If it went into safe mode by itself, that's either the result of a software problem or a hardware fault.

IMO the best thing to do would be a factory reset, and if that doesn't help the phone will require repairs.
We haven't had this kind of problem here before, but maybe HTC has heard about it.  They'll probably make the same suggestion as me tho.

Ah.... as per my recently update sig, you should do a factory reset first. Failing that, a root and flashing new ROM will cut the cake for ya ^.^

I would believe that using MoDaCo r9 might be the reason... Try reverting back to r8 (which I think is the stable version) or use LeeDroid.

Also, when flashing a new ROM, try to backup first, then do a manual factory wipe and cache wipe first. Some ROMs are glitchy like that...

first of all, thank you for the replies

second i did try CyanogenMod 6 and same problem ,
further more , when i boot up it seems that it light up!
but when i try to use them , even in recovery they are not responding

im downloading LeeDroid 2.1a right now , i hope it does help

what im missing is
when  we update roms do we wipe the entire device or there is some sort of kernel ? thats running im guessing that something is buggy at a lower level

also did S-OFF hope for some luck but it didnt change much on the keyboard

Lighting up only requires power to the LED. From what I understand about cell-phone PCBs, the buttons and LED are on parallel lines, not serial.

I suggest you unroot your phone and send it to HTC. It feels like a hardware fault to me.

I can't live without my menu key... it's like... losing my left lung...

And I wouldn't want to go back to my plain old Nokia either... Once you've tasted ambrosia...

Seriously, if I can do that, I'll be on XDA instead Tongue
I'm geeky, but not nerdy enough to have such "733+" skills. Maybe XDA can help you out here...
