HTC screen appears.  That's it.  I wiped everything, and did a factory reset.
HTC screen still appears.  Wiped cache, Titanium backup has no files in it, and have no other back ups on my sdcard, funny considering I had one before I mucked up my phone.
HTC screen still appears.

I had the same problem a few days ago. Try Clear Storage in recovery and if it doesnt help, flash new ROM.

I cleared the storage.  Nothing.

I can't flash a new rom, cuz I don't have a rom on the sd other than the one I tried to flash into the phone, which, obviously didn't work.

so load the new Rom on sd card via recovery. And than flash it. For example InsertCoin. I had the same problem and this solved it.

When I go to load the Rom, it loads it, or at least it says it does, and I go to turn it on, and it shows the HTC screen.

S-OFF'ed?

Try to run an RUU. It seems that you might be facing some bigger problems.

So I looked into RUU.  I looked at miladinovic87's info, and went to the site to download what he suggested.  First I saved it, but it said that it was not a Win32 file, so then I ran it directly from the site, and it gave me a similar response.

I have an Acer with Win 7 home 32 bit.  Any ideas.  I tried a few other files from shipped roms but came to the same end.  I also wrote them to see what they had to say.

This is fun isn't it.....okay so  I can not go to the phone and see anything about the phone, so the numbers matching, would not work. but the problem is with the download vs my windows.  When I click on the program to run it, it won't run because its not a win32 program.

Ah... now that we are clear. Power on while holding the Volume down key, that'll get you into the BOOTLOADER. You'll a little more info there.

BTW, which RUU did you download? It should all be win32 programs...

I downloaded 4 of them.  None of them worked.  They were the ones saying signed.exe.

bootloader is telling me wrong this, and wrong that, and no image.  Thats at a glance, cuz it don't last long.

Then I'm afraid you'll have to send it back for repairs.

LOL, been on that the last couple days.  Should get the replacement tomorrow.  Thank you though for looking into it, and scratching your head over my issues.  I really don't know what happened the last time I mucked with it, but this time plus the last time really sent the phone over the edge.

So when I get my new Desire....
Root with Unrevoked, then get the Rom Manager from the Market, and that is really my idiots way towards a custom phone? Or should I try again with going through all of the steps again?

And that is root... Dl a Rom to my memory card... make a backup... push the rom, wipe the cache, and call it good... Right?

Thanks again.
