Hi there,

I got my desire last week and updated to 2.2 on saturday.

I have now noticed that i no longer have the market app. I see there is alot of posts about this on the android website. Anyone else have this problem?

Also, just day sitting in work and my phone keeps going into car mod with a little car in the top left of the notice bar.
Anyone know what this is or why it just randomly keeps going into this mode?

If you are going to bold every single word you type out, might as well don't do it, because it takes the impact away
But seriously, it sounds like you had a bad update. I suggest a factory reset at this point, because there is very little that can be done. Those apps are locked away in the /system/ folder that you can't access without root. Hit the link in my signature for the proper steps.

I think there's a script in the system that starts up Car Home when they decide that you plugged in a car dock. As for the market thing, well, I suddenly remembered an alternative. Use appbrain.

Dears,

the problem concerned to USB port.
if you have problem with it, take your phone to repair center and ask them to repair your usb port.

my friend have a same problem and when i connect usb cable and move it little the problem disappeared, but when i pulled out usb the problem appear again.

there is short circuits in the connectors
