As it says!! My GPS seems to have suddenly decided that I live in Shenzen China. As you can guess that is throwing my calendar and clock completely out.

Seemed to randomly happen - turning off GPS doesn't seem to make an difference - nor does turning off the phone and restarting.

Any ideas? Only had the phone for a week and have been hearing horror stories. I hope I am not going to be another one!!

Add to this - my weather is obviously completely screwed  Cheesy

Please help if you can! Reading some of your other replies to other posts, you guys seem to know your stuff!

I had the same problem and it happend while I turned on "use wireless networks" (under the location settings). WHen I turned this option off my phone didn't return to my current location, google maps was showing the correct location.
I just switched this option on again (while being at home, not on the location where I turned it on the first time) and immediatly it switched to my current location. No I switched this option off again and it seems to work better now.
I'm not shure the reality is an improvent. I think I prefer the sunny weather in shanzou over the grey and drizzling weather here in the Netherlands..  Undecided

hope this helps for you.

Reset your weather cache dears...

Remove the affected widgets from your homescreen, then

Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > search for all HTC programs and weather programs, then clear off the cache.

Restart your phone and it should be ok now...

@ Arjaan : Easy solution is to move to Shanzou.  You'll have better weather and the phone will show the correct location.
