Hi,
I have had no problems with my desire since I had it a few weeks ago, but last night I couldn't connect to the internet and still can't today. I have tried a hard and soft reset but no luck. I have 3g icon in the tool bar at the top and full signal. phone says that mobile networks are connected.
Any ideas?

*#*#4636#*#*

Select "Phone information"
Press the "Run ping test" button
Next three lines should show "pass"
Clear the cache on your browser. [Menu] > "Settings" > scroll down and clear cache

Other than that... I have no idea. I assume the website(s) you are trying to visit is not down and that your carrier isn't acting funny Smiley

Thanks for replying, I have already cleared cache and cookies, so just done the ping test and the next 3 lines read. ping ipaddr - fail ip addr not reachable. ping hostname fail host unreachable. http client test fail IOException.

Check your APNs.

Settings > Wireless & network > Mobile Network > Access Point Names

There should be listed your carrier's network settings. If it's not there, call them up for it. I have no idea where to get the settings for you...

tucky, try changing Menu/Settings/Wireless & Networks/Mobile networks/Network Mode to WCDMA only.
Wait a couple of minutes.

If this doesn't help maybe change the setting to GSM only (slow).
Wait a couple of minutes.

If this doesn't help, put the setting back to both and wait for someone else to help. Wink

Lack of response usually means that the problem has been solved... but it's only been about 2 days so...
