Soo.... a few months ago, I monkeyed with my Desire, it started double booting, so I figured I screwed it, and thought to let it be. Today I saw the factory reset option on the front page, so I did a factory reset. Now I wanted to create a backup for when I decide to mess up the phone again. So I go into recovery, I can arrow up and down, but when I hit the power button to select the option I want, it goes to a bright black screen.
I would really like to get this bad boy rooted, and customized. Can someone help me out?
I went to push the unrevoked, but it cancels. The whole hboot option you need to do before unrevoked, I don't need to do, the phone is already recognized as a device.
Okay, so I guess I am rooted. I used the connectbot app to check.
