Hi,

I've been trying to get my battery cover off for the past half an hour, with no luck, and my nails and thumbs ache!

Any advice???

(On a separate note, the reason that I'm trying to get the battery off is because every time I try to make a call, the screen goes black. If I wait, eventually it tells me that I need to force shut.. Any suggestions?)

There's a slight indentation on the back cover near the top part. That's where you pry it open. It should come out with a few cracking sounds, but not too loud Smiley

As for your second problem, try to reboot, then clear your cache.
