Took pictures and a couple of video clips of son's presentation night. Saw images on screen and liked them. Tried opening them up later to show them but they won't open. have downloaded ES Explorer from market as a possible fix but still nothing. Now desperate no to lose these memories.........can anyone help?? Logged unable to open pics / vids : http://www.htcdesireforum.com/index.php?topic=4635 ric323 Administrator Sr. Member Karma: 1 Australia Posts: 400 Re: unable to open pics / vids « Reply #1 on: July 18, 2011, 07:31:52 AM » If you connect your phone to a PC with a USB cable, and set it to as a disk drive, you will find the photos and videos in a folder called \DCIM\100MEDIA The photos will be JPG files and the videos will be 3GP files.   Copy them onto your PC and see if you can view them there. Make sure you use the PC's "disconnect" function before disconnecting the phone, the same as you would for a USB memory stick.
