Yes, reverted from Cyanogen to DeFrost 5.9, will update to 6.0 tonight.

p/s: Quadrant score: Cyanogen~14xx, Defrost~15xx. DeFrost wins, for now.

Ok, CyanogenMOD (CM), DeFrost (DF), & OpenDesire (OD) three-way battle.

Let's start with CM: Wonderfully lean ROM, so lean that it doesn't have GApps, which kinda sucked for me. Solved it by flashing the GApps.zip, but forgotten that you can only flash that immediately after flashing the ROM *pause for facepalm*. Not to be detracted by my own silliness and habits, I plodded on. Certain functions were excellent, but speed-wise, not so good. Like I mentioned, it scored 14xx on quadrant, so it was slower than DF. And I overclocked it to 1113MHz, to be fair for both.

DF: By far, my favourite AOSP ROM (notice I don't say that it is the best, since that depends on opinion). As at 5.9, Q-score was 15xx consistently. Also liked DeFrost setup AND inclusion of GApps and Cyanogen settings. And fast.

OD: Who am I kidding? It hasn't been updated since 4.0.36, so I didn't even bother to look at it. I might be interested IF it has an update, but development seems frozen.

So, that's my take on the three popular AOSP Desire ROMs...
