I think older version of the Sense-like ROMs had that problem, but newer ones shouldn't. Which ROM are you using anyway? Il be upgrading the rom this weekend to Leedroid. I must admit that after rooting the phone I am really happy with the result; might be that I do not know what I am missing but it would be conforting to know that I can go back if I miss the current setup.
