Hi,
after trying to find out how to repair my desire in a software way I give up. My desire is restarting all the time e.g. when I browse the Inet or gallery, writting sms etc. It seems to be a problem of overheating.
I want to return it to T-Mobile and get another desire BUT I've unbranded it and updated so I have find a way how to restore the original firmware and kernel. Is there any easy way how to do it?
My phone:
Android: 2.2,
Baseband version: 32.49.00.32U_5.11.05.27,
Kernel version: 2.6.32.15-gf5a401c htc-kernel@and18-2#1,
Build number: 2.29.405.2 CL263770 release-keys,
Software number: 2.29.405.2
Need to have:
Android: 2.2,
Baseband version: 32.49.00.32U_5.11.05.27,
Kernel version: 2.6.32.15-gd96f2c0 htc-kernel@and18-2#1,
Build number: 2.12.110.4 CL274424 release-keys,
Software number: 2.12.110.4

How I can achieve it? Smiley Thank you

Needs a gold card and the right RUU. Why are you using the WWE version of the firmware?

Is it wrong? I've followed some tutorial to debrand, so the version is not my choice. I have gold card but I'm confused of using all the abbreviations like WWE, RUU and I don't really understand them. If you can be so glad and help me step by step or post some links where I can read it out I'll send you a pack of cookies Smiley

Ok, I read it. Everything I must do is to insert my goldcard to the phone and download RUU version 2.12.110.4? BTW: I didn't find it on http://shipped-roms.com/index.php?category=android&model=Bravo
add: what is difference between signed or other releases?

Well, just get any other T-Mobile version then... I can't help you any further than that.

I've downloaded RUU_Bravo_TMO_UK_1.21.110.4_Radio_32.36.00.28U_4.06.00.02_2_release_127570_signed.exe because I thought that's the right RUU for me but when I run it, it fail with 140 error message (bootloader version error). How to solve it? Another version of RUU or try to change hboot? I have Hboot 093.
Another question: When using RUU, I have to find the one with the third number 405, branded by T-Mobile. It seems not even exist so how I can change from WWE to TMO?

Ok, I will try RUU_Bravo_Froyo_TMO_AT_2.12.112.1_Radio_32.46.00.32U_5.10.05.17_2_release_143754_signed.exe

ADD: ok, I downloaded it but still the same error... (error 140 bootloader version error)
Where's the problem? How I can correct my bootloader version?

ADD I already have hboot 0.83.0001 and soft 1.21.405.2 so now I need to load a T-Mobile rom for SLCD display. Any advices for RUU? Smiley

Solved: Now I have my desire back from repair and it's fantastic Smiley.
