Hi all, got my Desire over a year ago, and I have been thinking about rooting it, but I am not very computer savy, I understand a few things, is it difficult to do?..where do I start...I know Gingerbread hasn't been released in North America, will I be able to get it?..I am basically wanting my phone to be faster and to free up some internal memory...can anyone point me in the right direction:)...thanks all, I will post my results after I do the rooting of the phone...!
Edit: sorry, just realized this is for desire, I'm rooting the DHD, if anyone has info on that as well that would be great
Did you get it working properly? With android 2.3.3. I'm trying to root for my first time, haven't been able to find a very recent guide for the Telus version though... I'm going to try it and hope i can get it to work, but if you or anyone can let me know a method that is known to work that would be great...
